These pictures are of a piece I did for university. They are embriodered leaves made using layered materials, net and free hand emroidered over the top along with leaf skeletons. The base of the collar is made using dissolvable material. I free hand embriodered a thick black lace and the leaves are sewn on by hand. The idea of this piece is to work as a collar in a costume or to be worn as a heavy bespoke knecklace if desired.
